The Wiener Musikverein is the famous concert hall of Vienna were the traditional New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra is performed every year. For the Postmusik Salzburg it was a great honour to be invited to play a concert in this ‘holy palace of music’ during the Vienna Donau International Culture and Arts Festival. Among other pieces they performed Richard Wagner’s “Elsas Procession to the Cathedral” and Verdi’s “Nabucco”. The concert was played together with the Chengdu Foreign Languages School from China.
